Prince William and Prince Harry rolled up their sleeves and put on their hard hats to help build homes for solders in Manchester on DIY SOS with Nick Knowles.

The DIY SOS team are joined the two special royal helpers when they took on a whole street in Manchester and turned run-down empty properties into homes for veterans.

The team rally the local community to get stuck in and help build homes for former soldiers who fought in Iraq and Afghanistan and are suffering from post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), before also helping them to find new careers in the building trade.

Billy, one of the many helpers, jokingly calls himself the prince of darkness and told Prince William that he is also a prince and the prince of darkness was his title.
