The queen of baking Mary Berry, confirmed her new BBC food series earlier today on Saturday Kitchen Live.

Mary visited Saturday Kitchen to sample some of the delights served up by her Junior Bake Off co-host James Martin and his visiting chefs.

Mary, who is well known for her baking and also for judging the brilliant The Great British Bake-Off series, will show a different side to her culinary skills by cooking many delicious foods in her new series called Mary Berry Cooks.

The 78-year-old grandmother shows no sign of slowing down in her later years. She will not only be working on her new series, but she will also be launching a new book to accompany the new 6 part series.
