The Manchester Inspirational Voices Choir won the BBC Songs Of Praise Gospel Choir of the Year 2016, seeing of competition from the De Montfort University Gospel Choir, Harmony Gospel choir, Sheffield Community Choir, Lifted Voices choir and the Sing Gospel Choir.
