Last week The Beatles were awarded a Life Time Achievement Award at the 2014 Grammy Awards ceremony for services to the music industry. This prompted ITV Alan Titchmarsh show to invite the directory of The Beatles Story in Liverpool, Martin King their studio to take a trip down memory lane and showcase some of the finniest Beatles memorabilia.
Among all the fine artefacts on show, was a letter from Elvis Presley to the Beatles complementing them on their achievements in America after being watched by 73 million people on the Ed Sullivan show in 1964.
Martin also showed off one of his exhibition’s many guitars before revealing to the audience that it belonged to a certain George Harrison and that it was his very first guitar.
