Young electric toothbrush designer Ryan, showcased is Dot Range toothbrushes on Dragon’s Den.

Ryan came into the den seeking £150,000 for 11% equity in his business and told the dragons: “Consumers want something different to the standard medical device to brush their teeth with. People want something to match their personality, they want something that is going to match their style.”

Unfortunate for Ryan, the dragons were not persuaded; they felt it was simply not an investment for them. He left the den with good luck wishes but sadly no cash.
