Bruno Mars wins ‘Favourite Male Artist In Pop/Rock’ at the 2011 AMAs

 Music superstar Bruno Mars has won ‘Favourite Male Artist In Pop/Rock’  award at the 2011 American Music Awards.

Mars beat teen sensation Justin Bieber and Pitbull for the ‘Favourite Male Artist In Pop/Rock’ accolade.

“I want to thank the fans for voting,” Mars told the crowd, adding: “I want to say hi to my family at home in Hawaii.”

Dedicating the award with his fellow nominees, he concluded: “I’d love to share this award with my homies Pitbull and Justin Bieber. Guys, thank you so much.”

Earlier in the evening, Bieber performed his latest single ‘Mistletoe’ from his holiday-themed album Under The Mistletoe. Check out the video below:
