Harry Styles from One Direction as reportedly got behind Britain’s Got Talent hopeful Ed Drewett in this year’s competition.
Drewett who is a successful songwriter and have written song for One Direction and Olly Murs among others, auditioned for BGT this year and was seen singing his own song ‘Blink’ at the weekend audition show.
Styles and the other One Direction boys are supporting the songwriter who wrote a couple of the band’s most successful hits: ‘Glad You came’ and ‘Best Song Ever’. With millions of fans following Styles and the other One D. boys on social media, this could give Drewett a great boost on the show if many were to vote for him in the live shows.
In an interview with Lorraine Kelly, Drewett revealed that he has been writing songs since the age of twelve, but thought is first song was rubbish. However, although he is a successful song writer now, he has always had a dream to perform his own songs at Wembley Stadium, but has so far not achieved it.
Drewett now hopes that Britain’s Got Talent will be the vehicle that will allow him to fulfil that dream.
