The Luminites made a great impression on Britain’s Got Talent at the weekend and since then they have stormed in as second favourite to win the show according to bookies.
Labrokes have giving odds of 8/1 for the London group to finish as the runner up in the competition this year.
However, it is the Hungarian shadow dancers Attraction that are in front as 3/1 favourites following their audition in the opening episode of the series.
Other acts in the running includes Welsh singer Robbie Kennedy who wowed the judges with a cover of Iris, which has since shot up the charts. Ladbrokes have given the singer 12/1 odds to win the series, while early pace-setter Arixsanda Libantino slides out to 16/1.
Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “The Lumintes have lit up this year’s BGT betting. They have definitely switched TV punters on and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see them challenge Attractions for favouritism soon.”
