Ching’s chilli pepper beef with mushrooms and pak choy recipe on Lorraine

Ching served up a tasty Chinese chilli pepper beef with mushrooms and pak choy dish on today’s episode of Lorraine.

The ingredients are: 6 garlic cloves, crushed or finely chopped, 2 medium green chillies, deseeded and finely chopped, 1 tbsp chilli paste, 1 tsp dark soy sauce, ½ tsp brown sugar, Ground black pepper, 2 x 150g sirloin beef steaks, each cut into 5mm/1/4 inch slices, fat removed, 1 tbsp groundnut oil, 1 tbsp Shaohsing rice wine or dry sherry, 250g baby pak choy leaves, stems and leaves separated and sliced, 50g fresh shiitake mushrooms, sliced, 1 tbsp low sodium light soy sauce or salt to taste and Steamed jasmine rice (green salad or spicy wild rice salad ) to serve.
