Prue Leith brie and blackberries with chilli jelly on soda bread on Prue Leith’s Cotswold Kitchen

Prue Leith served up tasty brie and blackberries with chilli jelly on soda bread on Prue Leith’s Cotswold Kitchen.

The ingredients for the soda bread are: 225g wholemeal flour, 225g plain white flour, 1 ½ teaspoon salt, 2 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda, 45g butter, 1 tablespoon caster sugar and 290-425ml buttermilk.

To assemble: 2 slices of soda bread, butter for spreading (optional), 100g Brie or Camembert, 2tsp home made chilli jelly, Handful of blackberries halved if you like and handful of rocket.
