Nadiya Hussain served up meat-free aloo burgers with cumin, chilli, spinach and brioche bun on Nadiya’s Simple Spices.
The ingredients for the patties are: 400g readymade mashed potato, 2 tsp ground cumin, 2 spring onions, thinly sliced, 2 chillies. thinly sliced, 2 tbsp chilli sauce (of your preference), 2 tbsp mayonnaise, 6 tbsp dried breadcrumbs, 1 tsp salt, 1 medium egg and oil, in frying.
To serve: 4 brioche burger buns, baby spinach, sliced red onion, ketchup/mayonnaise and onion rings.
