John Torode beef chow mein with prawn crackers tomatoes recipe on John and Lisa’s Weekend Kitchen

John Torode and Lisa Faulkner served up tasty beef chow mein with prawn crackers tomatoes on John and Lisa’s Weekend Kitchen.

The ingredients are: 400g topside steak, or steak of your choice, thinly sliced, 1 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp bicarbonate of soda, 1 tbsp vegetable oil, 2 tsp garlic paste , 2 tsp ginger paste , 2 handfuls of Chinese cabbage or bok choy, thinly sliced , 2 carrots, julienned, 100g bean sprouts, 400g chow mein noodles or egg noodles, cooked & tossed in oil , 2 tbsp soy sauce , 2 spring onions, sliced keeping the green & white separate, Sesame oil and Black sesame seeds.

For the Prawn Crackers: 100ml vegetable oil and A handful of uncooked prawn crackers.
