Lisa Faulkner coconut angel food cake recipe on John and Lisa’s Weekend Kitchen

Lisa Faulkner and John Torode served up a delicious angel food cake with coconut on John and Lisa’s Weekend Kitchen.

The ingredients are: 115g plain flour, 85g icing sugar, 8 large eggs whites, at room temperature , ¼ tsp salt, 1 tsp cream of tartar, 150g caster sugar and 1 tsp vanilla extract.

To coat the cake: 450ml double cream, 2 tbsp icing sugar, 1 tsp vanilla extract, 250g desiccated coconut and Edible flowers for decoration.

For the sauce: 2 ripe mangos, peeled and diced and Juice of 2 limes, zest of 1.
