James Martin served up delicious mulled wine poached pears with port and clotted cream on James Martin’s Saturday Morning.

The ingredients are: 4 English pears, peeled and 1/2d, 1 vanilla pod, 50g caster sugar, 300ml water, 1 bottle mulled wine, 100ml port, 1 orange, rind only, 1 lemon, rind only, 5 juniper berries, 5 cloves and 2 cinnamon sticks.
