Freddy Forster served up his ultimate bangers and mash for a tasty supper on Steph’s Packed Lunch.
The ingredients are: 4 Cumberland Sausages and Vegetable oil.
For the mashed potato: 500g peeled potato, 100ml full fat milk, hot, 80g grated cheddar cheese, Mature, Salt/pepper, 1 x tablespoon chives and 4 Spring Onions, thinly sliced.
For the onion and cider gravy: 1 large onion, peeled and finely sliced, 1 sprig of thyme, 2tbsp Branston pickle, 100ml cider (Strongbow as an option), 400m beef stock, 50g unsalted butter and 2tbsp vegetable oil.
