Simon Rimmer North Carolina blueberry and apple sonker recipe on Sunday Brunch

Simon Rimmer served up a delicious North Carolina blueberry and apple sonker dessert on Sunday Brunch.

The ingredients are: 300g blueberries (can use frozen), 300g chopped, peeled apples, 100g sugar, 50g butter and 1 Tsp vanilla.

For the topping: 135g flour, 150g sugar, 1 Tsp baking powder, 1 Tsp ground cinnamon, 135ml milk, 125g melted butter, 1 Tsp vanilla and Serve with vanilla ice cream.
