Simon Rimmer cinnamon and maple cake recipe on Sunday Brunch

Simon Rimmer served up a delicious cinnamon and maple cake on Sunday Brunch.

The ingredients are: 300g butter, 250g light brown sugar, 6 eggs, 300g flour, 1tbsp baking powder, 1tsp bicarbonate of soda, 2 heaped tsp ground cinnamon, 75ml maple syrup and 1tsp vanilla.

For the icing: 250g butter and 450g icing sugar.

To serve: creme fraiche and strawberries.
