John Christophe Novelli beef stroganoff recipe on Steph’s Packed Lunch

John Christophe Novelli served up a tasty beef stroganoff on Steph’s Packed Lunch.

The ingredients are: 100g white cup mushrooms, left whole, 1 tbsp rapeseed oil, 500g beef fillet, cubed, 1 banana shallot, peeled and sliced, 1 bulb garlic, halved, 3 thyme sprigs, 1 bay leaf and pinch smoked paprika.

For the sauce: 100ml red wine, 1 tbsp honey, 100ml double cream, 1 tbsp English mustard, 1 tbsp horseradish sauce, crushed black pepper to taste and 1 tbsp parsley.
