Lisa Faulkner treacle tart with clotted cream recipe on John and Lisa’s Weekend Kitchen

Lisa Faulkner and John Torode served up a delicious treacle tart with cornflakes topping and clotted cream that is a favourite of Lisa’s dad on John and Lisa’s Weekend Kitchen.

The ingredients are: 250g golden syrup, ½ a lemon, juiced, 1 cap full of vanilla essence, 75g dried white breadcrumbs, 25g cornflakes, 300g plain flour, 150g cold butter, cubed , 2 tbsp ice cold water, Pinch of salt and Clotted cream, to serve.
