Gok Wan Chinese ‘fakeaway’ with prawns and black beans recipe on This Morning

Gok Wan, Phil and Holly served up a tasty Chinese ‘fakeaway’ with prawns and black beans on This Morning.

The ingredients: 1 tbsp rice bran oil, 1 white onion, cubed, ½ green pepper, cubed, ½ red pepper, cubed, ½ yellow pepper, cubed, 3 garlic cloves, crushed and finely chopped, 1 tbsp fermented black beans – re-hydrated (must use Chinese brand and dried), 1 small red / green chilli (depending on heat), finely chopped, 12 king prawns – de-veined and butterflied, 1 tbsp dark soy, 1 tbsp light soy, 1 tbsp oyster sauce, 1 tsp Shaoxing rice wine, 200ml vegetable/ fish stock, salt and white pepper, pinch of sugar and 1 tbsp cornflour, mixed with water.

To serve: white rice and chopped chillies.
