Gino D’Acampo limoncetti biscuits with limoncello liqueur and ice cream recipe on Gino’s Italian Express

Gino D’Acampo served up delicious limoncetti biscuits with limoncello liqueur and ice cream on Gino’s Italian Express.

The ingredients are: salted butter, for greasing, 4 medium egg whites, 350g caster sugar, 350g ground almonds, Grated zest of 3 unwaxed lemons, 2 tablespoons limoncello (lemon liqueur) and Icing sugar, sifted, to decorate.

  1. the biscuits with the lemon liqueur in them would work out expencive to make when the bottle of liqueur starts at 14 pound a bottle and only need 2 tbl spoons
