The Spice Men brought the taste of Mulled wine to Christmas Kitchen with James Martin severing up a mulled wine trifle.
The Spice Men are two Indian chefs, Tony Singh and Cyrus Todiwala based in Scotland, who want to transform the way British dishes are cooked at home by bringing the flavours of the east to their dishes.
Today they showed how to make their version of a mulled wine trifle.
The chefs use a nutmeg-flavoured Madeira cake for their Christmas trifle but a plain version to make this spiced festive dessert would work just as well.
