The Voice UK: Toni Warne impressed three out of four judges

Toni Warne The Voice34-year-old Toni Warne made an impression on three out of the four judges at her audition on The Voice UK.

Before taking to the stage, Toni explained to hosts Reggie and Holly how she had gone bold in her twenties as a result of her Alopecia, which has led to a lack of confidence.

But her performance of Will Young’s Leave Right Now was good enough to have three of the four judges fighting to have her on their team.

The singer, who previously saw fame when taking part in Opportunity Knocks back in 1987 as a youngster, won over Danny O’Donoghue, Jessie J and Sir Tom Jones, with only Will.i.am not turning around.

“I could tell you’ve been through pain and that’s what moved me emotionally to press my buzzer,” Danny said.

Jessie told her: “Your tone is so old school, I feel that you could teach me something. Please let’s hang out and make music.”

Sir Tom added: “You are a real, real singer. You sound fantastic.”

Making her decision, Toni said: “Four years ago I heard Jessie J for the first time, and Jessie, I would love to choose you!”
