One Direction have signed a TV deal with children TV network Nickelodeon according to reports today.

This might be good news for the boys and their management, but the news has not gone down well with many fans.

There as so far been no official confirmation of the type of deal that have been agreed,  but it has been speculated that the boys have signed a one off TV special, following their rise to fame in America and Canada.

However, some fans took to Twitter to call on  Simon Cowell to veto the deal.

One fan wrote: “I think Simon needs to get on this case, he signed the boys to become famous singers, not actors?”

In the meantime, Nickelodeons have released a new video of the boys, in anticipation of the new Saturday night slot that One direction will soon be hosting on their channel.
