Got To Dance 2012 Series 3: Unity UK take to the stage for the semi-finals

Unity UK Got To DanceUnity UK will take to the stage in the fifth live semi-finals of Got To Dance 2012 to showcase their dancing talents once again.

The hip-hop and grime street crew from London, impressed the judges at their audition with a sizzling dance routine that for us was one of the best we have seen in all three seasons of the show so far.

Judge Ashley Banjo, said at their audition that it was an “original, brave concept” to do grime in this way. He added: “It’s not easy music to sit on. It’s fast, it’s tough, but you guys did it brilliantly.”

“I think as far as street goes, you are on a par with my favourite street dancers in this competition.”

The 12-strong group of 17 to 25 year olds were put together by dancer and choreographer Tashan Muir, 25, from Walthamstow, in 2005.

On Sunday evening the dance crew will take to the stage to put on a show in a bid to secure a place in the final next week and a chance to win £250,000 cash prize.
