Daybreak presenter Dan Lobb last night became the second celeb to be voted off Strictly Come Dancing this season.

Lobb, along with his dance partner Katya Virshilas  was axed after dancing for only  the second time last night.

Dan and Katya had scored 24 points out of 40 for their Viennese Waltz during this week’s Broadway special, dancing Somebody To Love from the We Will Rock You musical. He found herself in the bottom two alongside Lawyer Nancy Dell’Olio and partner Anton du Beke, who had scored 20 – the lowest score of the night – for their Tango.

The judges’ votes were combined with a public vote for the final results.

When asked about his highlight on the show, Dan said: “Oh, dancing with Katya – it’s a wonderful opportunity to dance with somebody who works at the top of their profession, who is so talented.”

Katya added: “I have loved every single moment of it. I loved my tennis lesson. I shall cherish that. I didn’t get a chance to get up with you at 3.30am though!”
