Nicole Scherzinger became a judge on The X Factor USA after replacing Cheryl Cole in the summer. Whether you think this was a good move or not, you have to admit that Nicole knows a thing or two when it comes to choosing a good home.
For the first X Factor USA judges home stage of the competition, Nicole has taken her contestants to her Malibu mountain top retreat with stunning views of the sea below, and a spacious garden with the obligatory swimming pool that looks across the sea.
In this seasons competition, Nicole was awarded the Over 30’s category and to help her decide which four of the eight contestants to take to the live shows, she enlisted the help of world wide Spanish superstar Enrique Iglesias.
Enrique started his musical career with Mexican indie label Fonovisa, which helped turn him into one of the most popular artists in Latin America and the United States, selling more Spanish language albums than any other artist at that time.
Enrique later made a crossover into the mainstream English language market, with Interscope to release English language albums. Since then he has sold over 60 million records worldwide, winning a Grammy and Latin Grammy in the process.
The eight contestants that Enrique and Paula must decide on in the X Factor competition this year are:
The fortunate four contestants that are selected will go through to the X Factor live shows and will be mentored by Nicole in the hope that one of them will become the winner of the first series of the X Factor USA, and in turn Nicole will become the winning judge.
