Cheryl Cole’s appearance on The X Factor USA has been a big hit with American public.
Cole worked on the show for four audition dates, but was soon replaced by Pussycat Dolls star Nicole Scherzinger after she was axed from the judging panel.
However, after last night’s first screening of The X Factor on US TV, it would appear that most people gave Cheryl a big thumbs up but were less keen on her replacement Nicole.
Simon Cowell – who is joined on the ‘X Factor’ judging panel by Nicole, L.A. Reid and Paula Abdul – recently admitted he made the decision to axe Cheryl from the show because she seemed “bewildered” in the US.
He said: “She looked a bit bewildered. You come to a country like America, it’s a bit deal, takes a while to adjust. And I took the view, along with a few other people, that she would have been more comfortable back in the UK.”
