Comedy Dave Vitty said he was “gutted” as he became the latest celebrity to be voted off ITV’s Dancing On Ice.

After his skate-off rival Kerry Katona got two of the three judges’ votes to stay in the programme, Comedy Dave who is a  DJ on the Chris Moyles show on Radio 1 said: “I’m gutted obviously, I know I’m not one of the best skaters in this competition. I’ve had a really good time, it’s been an amazing privilege.”

Dave’s BBC Radio 1 breakfast show colleague Chris Moyles stood up in the audience to applaud his wing-man.

Speaking of skating partner Frankie Poultney he said “she was the best partner I could have hoped for”.
