Sunday evening second semi finals made a promising start with Shockarellas kicking of the proceedings with a very elaborate street dance routine that impressed the judges.

However, with four acts receiving one or more red stars, it left us with the feeling – rightly or wrongly – that the standard was not has high as last week.

Before the results were announced, we saw the return of some of last year’s finalist. They included Judebox Juniors, The Box, Mathew and Emily. However, they were also joined by special guest dancers – Happiness.

Happiness auditioned in this season’s competition but failed to make the semi finals. However, her audition piece has received over 2 million hits on Youtube and after tonight’s appearance that total look set to rise.

The Public Vote

Like most of the judges, we expected Shockarellas would make the finals but the two acts that secured the public votes were Dance Dynamix and Turbo.

Congratulations to Dance Dynamix and Turbo. They now join Chris & Wes and Alleviate in the finals.
