John Whaite served up a delicious strawberry upside down cake on today’s episode of Lorraine.
Thye ingredients For the topping are: 300g strawberries, hulled and halved, 25g flaked almonds and 2 tbsp caster sugar.
For the cake: 200g unsalted softened butter, 150g caster sugar, 150g self-raising flour, 50g ground almonds, 1 tsp baking powder, 4 large eggs and Zest of 2 oranges.
To serve: 200g Greek yoghurt and 2-3 tbsp runny honey.
