Leon Ockenden served up a delicious ultimate lemon drizzle cake using his grandmother’s – nana Pearl – recipe on today’s episode of This Morning.
the ingredients are: 250g unsalted butter, 250g caster sugar, Zest of one unwaxed lemon, 100g ground almonds, 100g self raising flour, 4 eggs and 1tbsp clotted cream or milk.
For the drizzle: Zest and juice of two unwaxed lemon, Demerera sugar, Clotted cream or mascarpone and lemon curd to serve (optional).
