John Whaite served up delicious sticky toffee pudding with dates and a sticky sauce on today’s episode of Chopping Block.
The ingredients are: 75g butter, 75g dark muscovado sugar, 2 eggs, 1 tsp vanilla extract, 140g flour and 1 tsp baking powder.
For the date puree: 75g dates, finly chopped and 75ml water.
For the sauce: 150ml double cream, 75g dark muscovado sugar and 25g butter.
