John Whaite Strawberry and orange curd fraisier recipe on Lorraine

John Whaite served up a delicious strawberry and orange curd fraisier on his new John Whaite’s Spring Bakes segment on today’s episode of Lorraine.

The ingredients for the Sponge are: 3 large eggs, 90g caster sugar, 90g plain flour and 30g unsalted butter, melted.

For the syrup: 50ml water, 50g caster sugar and 4 tbsp orange liqueur (Cointreau).

For the filling and finishing: 400g strawberries, plus extra to top (plump and evenly sized as possible), 180g white mini marshmallows, 500g mascarpone cream cheese, 300g orange curd and Icing sugar, to dust.
