Mary Berry served up delicious lemon and elderflower jellies dessert on Mary Berry’s Foolproof Cooking.
Mary says: “Using homemade cordial for these jellies gives them a wonderful fresh flavour for a summary, light dessert, but if you only have shop-bought cordial, it will still be delicious.”
The ingredients are: 8 leaves of gelatine, 250ml elderflower cordial.
For the lemon syrup: 75g caster sugar, pared rind and juice of 3 lemons.
To serve: 18 strawberries, 2 tbsp icing sugar, 150ml whipping cream.
