James Martin served up a tasty Nduja sausage and sheeps cheese pizza on James Martin: Home Comforts.
James says: “These spicy, tangy homemade pizzas are so much better than anything you can have delivered – the perfect pick-me-up.”
The ingredients are: 200g semolina flour, 800g type ‘00’ flour, plus extra for dusting, 1 tbsp caster sugar, 1 tsp salt, 650ml tepid water and 1 x 7g sachet fresh yeast.
For the topping: 1 x 400g can plum tomatoes, preferably San Marzano, 400g sheeps’ cheese, crumbled, 300g ’nduja (soft spicy Italian sausage, available from delicatessens or online specialists), 1 large handful fresh basil leaves and 1 tbsp peanut oil.
