James Martin served up tasty line caught salt crusted sea bass with warm artichoke and bacon salad on James Martin: Home Comforts.

The ingredients are: 4 free-range egg whites, 2 lemons, zest only, 2 bunches fresh basil, leaves chopped, 1.25kg sea salt, 1 x 2kg whole sea bass, scales and guts removed, cleaned (ask your fishmonger to do this for you if you prefer), 200g smoked back bacon, cut into lardons, 600g cooked new potatoes, sliced, ½ red onion, finely sliced, 1 x 280g jar roasted artichokes in olive oil and sea salt and freshly ground black pepper.
