Tom Kitchin served up tasty drop scones using one of Queen Elizabeth’s favourite recipe on The One Show.

Drop scones became popular after the Queen served them to President Eisenhower at Balmoral in 1957, where they were made to the queen’s own recipe. The present enjoyed them so much that he requested the recipe from her Majesty.
