Dean Edwards served up mulled wine glazed chorizo canapés along with blue cheese and walnut bites canapés for the festive season on today’s episode of Lorraine.
The ingredients for the mulled wine glazed chorizo are: 200g cured chorizo sausage, sliced 1cm thick, ½ red onion. finely sliced, 3 sprigs fresh thyme, 2 cloves garlic. crushed, 1 stick cinnamon, 4 cloves, 200ml red wine, 1 tbsp runny honey, Tub baby mozzarella and Fresh basil.
For the blue cheese and walnut bites: 150g Stilton cheese, crumbled, 80g walnuts, chopped coarsely, 2 tbsp mayonnaise, 1 heaped tsp wholegrain mustard, 2 bulbs chicory, Small jar fruit chutney and 1 Granny Smith apple, tossed in a little lemon juice and sliced into matchsticks.
