John Whaite served up a delicious pumpkin and ginger cheesecake dessert that is perfect for halloween on today’s episode of Lorraine.
The ingredients for the base are: 500g gingernut biscuits and 100g unsalted butter.
For the Filling: 2 x 280g tubs full fat cream cheese, ½ a 425g can of pumpkin puree, 125g caster sugar, ½ tsp salt, 1 heaped tsp mixed spice and 2 large eggs.
To decorate (optional): 200ml whipped cream and Mini chocolate chips or small raisins.
