Brian Turner served up a tasty Irish stew on My Life on a Plate for veteran broadcaster and entertainer Nicholas Parsons.
The ingredients are: 1.35kg neck end chops of mutton, 900g potatoes, 450g large onions, 1.2l white chicken stock, 12 even sized new potatoes, 12 button onions, 2tbsp chopped parsley, 2 tbsp chopped celery leaves and 1 bouquet garni – celery, flat leaf parsley, thyme and bay leaf tied together.
