The 2014 Great British Bake Off winner Nancy Birtwhistle, made a delicious autumnal chocolate tart with berries, liquorice and a little help from John Craven on Countryfile.

The key ingredient in Nancy’s recipe is liquorice. It was sourced from the first commercial crop for nearly 50 years grown in Pontefract, West Yorkshire.

Nancy says: “Chocolate and liquorice work deliciously well together. This could be the start of a new flavour combination.”
