Dean Edwards served up a tasty beef mince pie with ingredients from the store cupboard on today’s episode of Lorraine.
The ingredients: 2oz dried mushrooms, (of your choice) sliced, 500g beef mince, 1 onion, diced, 2 cloves garlic, crushed, 1 tbsp plain flour, 1 x 290g can oxtail soup, 1 tsp English mustard, 1 tsp dried thyme, 1 tbsp tomato puree, 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce, 300g can new potatoes, drained and diced small, Salt and pepper, to season, 1 pack shop bought puff pastry (you will need approx. ½ of this quantity) and 1 egg, beaten.
