The music plays, the doors slowly open, the audience applause and through the doors two X Factor style queens immerged for the last time this year, Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh – No! Call off the lawyers, I meant Cheryl Cole and Dannii Minogue.
Once again the girls have come out fighting as the X Factor draws to a close and yes, we believe they saved the best till last. The competition between the two fashion icons is still going strong, as the two emerged looking sleek as ever in two very different yet equally stunning floor length gowns.
On Saturday Cheryl looked angelic as she elegantly glided onto the stage in a one-shouldered white Roberto Cavalli dress. The Grecian-style dress gathered gracefully on the right shoulder and flowed to the ground, highlighting Cheryl’s small but beautiful figure.
In total contrast, fashion rival Dannii worked the flamenco look, turning heads in an amazing ruby red-tiered gown by Australian designer duo J’Aton Couture.
On Sunday viewers were treated to yet more glitz and glamour as the two style queens strutted onto the X Factor stage in two amazing gowns.
Cheryl wore a stunning scarlet J.Mendel dress, the best dress in our view that she as showed off this season. While Dannii impressed yet again – like she does each week – in a white Jenny Packham frock that had something Christmassy about it.
All in all we think both Danni and Cheryl wowed on finals night and we just cannot choose between them, so we will declare this week as draw.
