Gennaro Contaldo serves up a tasty pasta baked with tomato and cheese conchiglioni recipe on This Morning.
The ingredients for the tomato sauce: 4 x 400g tins plum tomatoes , 3 cloves garlic, finely sliced, ½ fresh red chilli, finely sliced – optional, 1 bunch fresh basil, leaves picked and roughly chopped, 4 tbsp extra virgin olive oil and Sea salt and freshly black pepper.
For the conchiglioni: 20 or approx. 120g conchiglioni pasta, Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper, 1 ½ x 125g balls of mozzarella cheese, 175g good quality ricotta cheese (available at Italian delis), 40g parmesan cheese, 20 large fresh basil leaves and ½ quantity simple tomato sauce.
