Brothers Andre and Anderson Queiroz showcased Brazil’s national feijoada hotpot dish on Nigel Slater: Eating Together.
Nigel says: “This authentic Brazilian feijoada is a true meat feast packed with pork ribs, pork belly, sausages and bacon.”
The ingredients are: 1kg dried black beans, 4 tbsp olive oil, 500g dry-smoked pork ribs, fat trimmed, cut into individual ribs, 1kg unsmoked pork ribs, fat trimmed, cut into individual ribs, 1 large onion, roughly chopped, 1 head garlic, cloves finely chopped, 500g smoked bacon, cut into medium-sized pieces, 500g pork belly, cut into medium-sized chunks, 200g smoked pork sausage, cut into medium-sized chunks, salt and freshly ground black pepper and 2 tbsp dried chilli flakes (optional).
