Linda Dangoor showcased her fragrant Iraqi Muhallabi, a milk pudding custard dessert on Nigel Slater: Eating Together.
The Ingredients are: 7 tbsp cornflour, 1 litre almond milk (with no added sugar, if possible), 5 tbsp caster sugar, 2 tsp vanilla essence, 2 tbsp rosewater and 2 whole cardamom pods.
For the garnish: 2 tbsp pistachios or almonds, coarsely ground and 1 tbsp finely ground cardamom.
