The Hairy Bikers cooks a tasty roast loin of pork with sage-and-onion Yorkshire pudding for an ideal Sunday lunch on Cooking the Nation’s Favourite Food.
The Bikers says: “Roast pork with all the trimmings is perfect for a slap-up Sunday lunch, and there’s no missing out on Yorkshire puds.”
The ingredients for the pork: 1 x 6-bone loin of pork and sea salt flakes.
For the roast potatoes, 200-250ml rapeseed oil and 5 large floury potatoes, such as Maris Piper or King Edward, peeled and cut into large pieces.
For the Yorkshire puddings: 150ml vegetable oil, 200ml milk, 5 free-range eggs, 200g plain flour, 2 tsp dried sage leaves and 2 tsp onion salt.
