Children from Yorkshire learn how to make healthy pizzas and salads on James Martin: Home Comforts Ready Meals.

James Martin visits Pam Warhurst and Annie Douglass who runs a education centre in Yorkshire paid for from lottery funds, that teach Children how foods are grow and how to make healthy meals including ready meals.

Pam says: “People seems to have lost their connection with food thanks to labour saving devices that make it so easy to by ready meals. Children are growing up not knowing that cucumbers don’t grown with a plastic wrapper around it for instance.”

The children grow their own cucumbers and salads and turn them into tasty nourishing meals.
