Rick Stein makes pizzaladiere anchovies and onions in Toulouse on Saturday Kitchen using just a few simple ingredients.
A pizzaladiere is a southern French pizza with no tomato base or cheese of any sort. It is merely a pizza base (with herbes de provence mixed in) covered with caramelised onions and garlic and then covered with a lattice of anchovy fillets, black olives at the corner of each lattice section.
Rick’s ingredients are: Onions, bayleave, rosemary, parsley, thyme, olives, anchovies, anchovies paste, pizza dough and olive oil.
